The program invites applications from eligible candidates domiciled in West Bengal for one-year apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act, 1961.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification (as on 30.07.2025):
- Graduate Apprentice: Full-time 4-year degree in Engineering (relevant branch) approved by AICTE, Govt. of India.
- Diploma Apprentice: Full-time 3-year diploma in Engineering (relevant branch) approved by AICTE, Govt. of India.
- ITI Apprentice: ITI NCVT certificate in relevant trade from recognized institution.
Age Limit:
- Minimum: 18 years
- Maximum: 26 years as on 30 July 2025.
- Relaxations: SC/ST – 5 years, OBC – 3 years, PwBD – as per Govt. norms.
Selection Process
- Shortlisting based on percentage (%) of marks in qualifying examination.
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification and interview.
- Final selection subject to certificate verification and submission of medical fitness certificate.

Other Key Points
- No application fee.
- Apprentices are not entitled to permanent employment post training.
- No TA/DA for attending verification or joining.
- Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing apprenticeship training elsewhere are not eligible.
